There's Magic Behind Every Door in Joyful PetSmart Holiday Ad

What do PetSmart and Taylor Swift have in common? They’ve both had their visions come to life with the help of director Drew Kirsch who was behind the lens for the retailer's latest spot Make Merry Memories starring Lucy Hale. This longform piece by Deutsch LA, looks at the life of a pet parent via an advent calendar and showcases the memories pet parents share with their pets. Coincidentally, Taylor Swift’s Lover video, which Kirsch directed, included similar elements like using different rooms with vibrant colours to tell a heartfelt story. This made Drew the perfect director for this spot. 

Anyone with a fur baby gets it- like PetSmart, they’ll do anything for their pets from dressing them up in festive outfits in holiday cards to buying their gifts first. Pet parents look forward to the holidays because that’s when they get to share the most quality time with their pets and show their love.
