This ASICS Unboxing Ad is Brilliantly Bonkers

ASICS has launched a fully mad faux unboxing video for its latest HyperGEL trainers. 

Created for the Japanese market by Berlin-based agency The Adventures Of, the spot opens with well known Japanese vlogger Gabari receiving a box of sneakers from ASICS. “Now these are the kind of shoes you’ve gotta test with your feet,” he says, before removing a pair of gloves and his hands turning into giant, bare feet. The catch is that Gabari always wears white gloves to handle his sneakers - this is the first look his viewers have ever had at looking at his ‘hands’.
