iÖGO and its quirky umlauts are back with a fun and fresh campaign that reflects the brand’s positivity and joyfulness. The new work from The Hive aims to further the brand’s leadership as Canada’s go-to snacking choice, and perhaps make a handful of other snacks a little jealous in the process.
The first campaign launches with a hero film that stars some adorably envious and animated snacks who sing their woes of becoming consumers former go to snack. Their envy quickly turns to appreciation for iÖGO’s delectably undeniable appeal – smooth, creamy and made with real fruit.
"iÖGO is such a fun brand and we took great care to stay true to its light-hearted DNA", says Sacha Ouimet, co-ECD at The Hive. The brief was simple – yogurt snacks should be fun for everyone.
The Hive partnered with RodeoFX, a leader in 3D/Animation, throughout the creative and production process to bring the animated characters to life.
“We absolutely fell in love with the concept from the team at The Hive when it was first presented to us.” says Marjorie Houle, marketing director at Lactalis. “Yogurt advertising can sometimes take itself a little too serious and that’s just not iÖGO. The brand’s personality has always been a bit quirky and this work delivers just that while sharing with consumers all the rational things that are important to them when looking for a great snack option.”
The integrated national campaign is currently running in both English and French-language markets, supported by 30, 15 and six second video, OOH, social and retail POP.
