Havas Paris Seven helms a new campaign for French optical centre Krys entitled 'The Dancer', proving that there may be something even more embarrassing than a naked dancing dad. In a subversive move, director Jean-Baptiste Saurel captures the shame felt when we wear a cheap pair of glasses. Such a feeling is presented through an incredible dance to David Hasselhoff's 'True Survivor' that is ruined when a father's kids interrupts him mid-routine.
This dancing dad chooses to cover his eyes when interrupted, showing that when we wear cheap glasses, it's even more shameful than being caught naked. Krys' new campaign encourages viewers not to be ashamed of their glasses anymore - and maybe focus on more pressing issues.
