A suite of three new 15 second TV commercials for Toyota Hilux have drawn on the 'less is more' communication style of a fair few of its drivers, to add to the launch campaign from October.
In a clear nod to the new look Toyota Hilux, the starring duo of mates return to admire, quietly, the updated version of their beloved ute, all played out in three distinct everyday settings.
Created in partnership with Goodoil Films, the somewhat mundane adventures of the duo are perfectly captured to continue the beloved storyline.
Goodoil director Fiona McGee managed to capture confidence through quietness when she commented: "Classic male kiwi stoicism is an entertaining idea to play with. I definitely had a lot of fun creating more quiet adventures for the Hilux Boys. Enough said."
First manufactured in 1968, the Hilux benchmark has been raised again with a more aggressive yet appealing style, and build on the long-standing Hilux attributes of being tough and unbreakable.
