The Rocket motorcycle has been turning heads for twenty years, and for 2024, Triumph's legendary muscle roadster has even more power, sophistication, and a new name: The Rocket 3 Storm.
To reveal the new model Triumph have launched a global campaign, created by Newcastle based creative agency Drummond Central.
With the largest motorcycle production engine in the world, record-breaking torque, unrivalled handling, and spectacular acceleration, the Rocket 3 Storm is a true ‘force of nature’ – inspiring the campaign's slogan.
Shot in the atmospheric Californian desert, the campaign dramatically combines the Rocket 3 with its stormy environment – highlighting how only nature itself can match the Rocket 3’s power.
The Rocket 3’s record-breaking performance is captured with photography shot by Jordan Pay and combined with skilled and aggressive riding footage filmed by Paul Barson. The concept contrasts the dark and moody colour scheme of the bike with stunning flame-red sunsets and furious storms to create a spectacular and cinematic art-directional style.
Drummond Central’s creative director, Kevin Hughes, said, “The Rocket 3 is an absolutely epic motorcycle, there’s not another bike that even compares when it comes to style, performance and capability. Our job was pretty simple really, to show this motorcycle off in all its graceful, muscular glory and let the bike do the talking.”
The campaign will form the foundation for Triumph’s global communications for the Rocket 3 Storm, executed across organic and paid social, web, YouTube and print.
Drummond Central has worked with Triumph since 2022.
