The Department for Culture, Media and Sport have launched ‘Loneliness. It’s a part of life. Let’s talk about it’, a new campaign by 23red to reduce the stigma of loneliness amongst young people.
Three campaign films reveal the real, diverse causes of loneliness by giving loneliness a voice. The films draw on the lived experiences of 16-24 year olds, focusing on three key life moments where loneliness is most prevalent: leaving home, starting a new job, and scrolling on social media.
The films were developed by 23red, directed by Chloe Hayward and produced by Big & Small Productions.
The integrated campaign will target young people across Paid Social, YouTube, Influencer and Partnership activity, and signposts to the Better Health: Every Mind Matters loneliness page.
