Following a competitive pitch against rostered Government agencies, UNLIMITED & Pablo has been appointed as the agency of record for The Breakthrough Agenda.
The initiative, led by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, was established to strengthen international collaboration in clean technologies and sustainable solutions. It was launched at COP26 to accelerate climate action and make green solutions the most affordable, accessible and attractive options throughout the world by 2030.
The contracts, which covers website design and development, social strategy, and content creation and PR around key periods, will be managed by bespoke specialists across UNLIMITED, including TMWX, TMW Tomorrow and Nelson Bostock.
Work will begin with UNLIMITED’s Human Understanding Lab conducting a comprehensive audience review, including social listening, audience mapping and stakeholder reviews.
TMWX will then design and develop an upgraded website to act as a central hub for events, news and content to promote vital climate action. TMW Tomorrow will launch and manage the Breakthrough Agenda’s first social media account on LinkedIn, which will be used to amplify key updates and promote wider stakeholder activity around the globe.
Nelson Bostock will activate PR around key climate-focussed events throughout the year, such as COP and the General Assembly of the United Nations, to increase awareness and add a sense of urgency to the movement.
This is the latest of many account wins for Unlimited & Pablo. Recent appointments by The Department for Business and Trade and National Highways, added to a growing portfolio of public sector clients including the Cabinet Office, HMRC, The Department for Science, Innovation & Technology, The Metropolitan Police.
Tim Bonnet, president, Unlimited said, “Challenges don’t get bigger or more important than this. At the heart of solving the climate crisis is unpicking human behaviour that can limit progress. We’re excited to be able to use all our expertise in Human Understanding to help the Breakthrough Agenda achieve their goals.”
