Usain Bolt Comes to the Rescue in Epson's Dicey Printer Scenario Spot

Director Rollo Hollins took the helm of Epson's new series of commercials, having worked with Covert on numerous occasions before he reached out to the team to provide the CGI and VFX.

With the legendary fast man Usain Bolt as Epson’s ambassador, the concept was to produce a series of tongue-in-cheek spots involving Usain ‘bolting’ to the rescue in a variety of dicey printer-based scenarios. 

With the spots seeing Usain defying physics (sliding along a carpet, hovering past the window), the Covert team worked closely with the production team to ensure a smooth handover between the practical effects and VFX to ensure that the films had the right tonality to achieve the desired punchline.

The team loved working on the project - with some hilarious moments of Usain conveniently popping up - and were pleased with the final edit.
