Luxury fashion brand Victoria Beckham live streams the designer’s debut London Fashion Week show on Landsec’s famous Piccadilly Lights advertising screen this Sunday (September 16).
It is the first-time the iconic advertising screen in Piccadilly Circus will carry live content from an event as it happens, now possible following Landsec’s digital renovation of the screen last year.
The campaign was booked by premium out of home media company Ocean which operates the Piccadilly Lights on behalf of Landsec.
The broadcast brings to a spectacular close Victoria Beckham’s out of home campaign marking the 10th anniversary of the British designer’s eponymous fashion label.
Throughout the week a rotation of three images featuring Victoria Beckham and shot by the celebrated German fine art and fashion photographer Juergen Teller have appeared on the screen
The Sunday finale starts at 9.25am with a video celebrating Victoria Beckham’s 10 years in fashion. At 9.32am the screen switches to a live broadcast direct from the catwalk as special guests gather for the London Fashion Week show in Dover Street, London.
The live stream ends once Victoria has taken her bow, after which the screen switches back to its patchwork format.
Victoria this week told her millions of followers on Twitter and Instagram how excited she was to celebrate a decade of her brand on the Piccadilly screen, saying “My name in lights!”
