The Integer Group developed the filters to bring attention to people touching their faces in videos calls to help break the habit

People know that face-touching can spread Covid-19, but it’s a hard habit to break. And one that’s especially noticeable in the video conferences that have become our daily work-from-home life.

So The Integer Group created the ‘Watch Your Hands! Snap Lens’ as a way to train people to break their face-touching habit at a time when they’re already watching themselves - during their virtual meetings.

Custom ‘face touch reminder’ camera filters are triggered when people bring their hands to their face during video chats. Choose one or rotate between the ‘Don't Touch Your Face Hand,’ ‘Fire Hand,’ and a ‘Face Touching Counter’ to see how many times a person has touched their face while on video chat. The filters are available through Snap Camera, ensuring that they can be applied to everything from Zoom to WebEx to Google to Teams to Slack, and they can also be found on Snapchat (by all 190 million of their daily users).

From virtual happy hours to video conferences, these filters are helping people to break the habit and #FlattenTheCurve.

To get the filters, follow these three simple steps:

1. Go to snapcamera.snapchat.com and click the download button
2. Search 'The Integer Group' and pick your favourite filter
3. When using your video conference platform, make sure to select 'Snap Camera' in your video preferences
