Wavemaker has today announced Kristin Jones in the role of global account lead for Colgate-Palmolive. Reporting to global client president Alastair Bannerman, Kristin will be working closely with the media agency’s divisional and local Colgate teams and the WPP Colgate-Palmolive leadership.
Based in the US, Kristin will be responsible for ensuring global priorities are applied in each local market and successfully scaled globally to deliver transformational growth.
Kristin joins from IPG’s UM where she led the global team working across accounts such as Spotify and Aetna, overseeing buying, planning, and strategy to drive retail success and unlock media value across her clients’ existing and new markets. Prior to her five years at UM, Kristin was the global lead for Cigna and US lead for Sony, Luxottica, JCPenney and Walgreens Boots Alliance at OMD.
With over 20 years experience in developing integrated communications solutions for her clients, her experience spans a multitude of disciplines, including traditional media planning and digital media. She has worked across domestic and international teams to help best-in-class clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Sony and Heinz to grow both their brand name and bottom line.
