On the occasion of the Climate Change Conference (COP26) where leaders from all over the world will meet in Glasgow, Scotland, for a major international climate summit, White Rabbit Budapest is deploying its first campaign in France for Oxfam France to increase the pressure on political decision-makers.
The NGO wishes to raise awareness about the subject, and increase pressure on the French government and politicians to take strong action against climate change. The campaign aims at reminding decision-makers that an ambitious response is more than necessary in the face of the climate crisis, and that their inaction in the fight against climate change has to be stopped.
Cheeky, even provocative sentences using the figure of speech of double entendres draw attention to the problem we face globally. Now is the time for action, now is the time to implement solutions. Now is the time for responsibility. The hashtag ‘PasTheClimatPasDeMandat’ – No climate, no mandate – is a direct message to all politicians who think only in ‘votes’ and ‘mandates’, while the issue is much bigger, than winning a presidential election.
The campaign launched with digital assets on the first day of COP26 Summit, and series of ambient posters will be displayed in the Champ-de-Mars park, Paris.
