Bucharest is set for Central and Eastern Europe’s first Taco Bell - so McCann Romania are shouting about it in multiple countries
Some might say that things can happen a little bit too late in Bucharest, with music artists arriving after they’ve toured the world twice already, or streaming services that aren’t available in the region until you’ve seen all of the shows’ spoilers on the Internet.
But then, in 2017, something happened… The first Taco Bell in all of Central and Eastern Europe is opening at Baneasa Shopping City, in Bucharest. It’s the closest Taco Bell in the region on a radius of 1208 km (on an air range) - something to brag about for Romanians. And so, with that in mind, McCann Romania is shouting about this opening not only in Romania but in surrounding countries too.
Bucharest is only a mere 1 hour and 15 minutes away from Rome (by plane, admittedly). It’s just 637 km away from Budapest and 833 km from Vienna.
McCann has launched a big outdoor campaign not only in cities such as Prague, Vienna and Budapest, so that anybody from the region can enjoy a Crunchy Taco, a Fajita Burrito or a tasty Quesadilla from Taco Bell and visit Bucharest at the same time. It’s only a flight away. Or a slightly longer drive, but hey, you get plenty of time to enjoy the view.
