The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) has launched an online campaign to support its new global brand – Forests For All Forever.
The film celebrates the many things that we use in our daily lives that come from forests. It aims to provide a clear message to consumers of what it means to buy FSC-certified products while reaffirming the council’s vision of saving the world’s forests for future generations. It uses a simple story and stop-frame animation to bring forest products to life and helps the audience create an emotional connection with them.
The film was produced by Asylum Films and directed by Ben Falk. Jungle Studios sound designer, Lawrence Kendrick, was charged with creating a soundscape that both engaged the viewer and brought the stop motion world to life, while still allowing the music to have a strong presence. This was achieved by combining a realistic sound bed of the environment with recorded sounds that exaggerate the stop motion elements to enhance the character of the film.
