The MICHELIN Guide is world-renowned for its fine selection of restaurants, but less so for its hotels. BETC Paris puts the spotlight on the latter with an original campaign involving some dry humour!
If you've ever tasted the cuisine of a prestigious hotel, we wouldn't recommend sleeping in a Michelin-starred restaurant’, begins the film, which recounts the somewhat original and bizarre experience of a man seeking sleep and comfort in a hectic kitchen. It's a quirky scenario that underlines the interest of the Guide's hotel selection.
The film draws on the world-renowned expertise of the MICHELIN Guide in the gastronomic sector and combines it with the hotel industry.
The MICHELIN Guide's reputation, its anonymous inspectors and its stars are recognised all over the world. This rigour and attention to detail is also applied to the selection of each hotel establishment using similar criteria to those that could be applied to restaurants.
BETC Paris has chosen to highlight this link between culinary expertise and the Guide's demanding hotel selection through an original, humorous campaign aimed at the British public.
The campaign, unveiled on 17th October 2024, is being rolled out across the UK on digital and connected TV. The film can be viewed directly on the MICHELIN Guide website or on the brand's YouTube page.
