After zero recognition of the HIV/AIDS issue over the past decade, Wunderman developed a creative data visualisation installation during the G20 Summit to address the problem.
The G20 Summit was held in Buenos Aires on December 1st, the same day of World AIDS Day. Wunderman Buenos Aires and the Huesped Foundation, an Argentine organisation aimed to guarantee access to health and control of diseases, took action by creating an immersive campaign to attract the leaders of the 20 most influential countries in the world visiting Buenos Aires for the G20 Summit to get #HIVonAgenda.
One of the most impressive components of the campaign was a large-scale interactive installation located on the esplanade of the Technological Science Pole. In the installation, the team creatively analysed key data and developed visuals of each countries’ flag participating in the G20 Summit in a bar chart displaying the HIV statistics separated by nation.
In addition to the installation, Wunderman Buenos Aires designed an interactive website with unique infographics demonstrating a transformation of the flags of each nation into 3D animated bar graphs, showcasing why the HIV issue should be on the agenda.
