Challenge

Bring EE’s online LearnSmart platform to a live audience through an interactive learning event.

Idea

EE Learn Live was an interactive learning event held in London during February half term, designed to empower young people (11-16years old) and bring EE’s LearnSmart online platform to life.

Hosted by Stacey Dooley, we utilized talent from EE’s existing partnership portfolio across BAFTA, GX and The FA to bring the best in the industry to the young people. Guests heard from an incredible line-up of speakers who shared their insights and wisdom through bite-sized presentations and Q&A’s. 

Winning in life was presented by Gareth Southgate OBE & Fara Williams MBE, confidence workouts were delivered by Micheal Ward, Ashley Walters, Braydon Bent & Precious Assah. History of the Future was taught by Deborah Meaden, Eliza Rain and George Sullivan. 

Gaming was brought to the children by Elz the Witch, Spencer and Tobi Brown and mastering wellbeing was presented by Shakira Akabusi and Emily English. After the talks, guests had the opportunity to explore four interactive rooms showcasing EE product capabilities and partner technology. Featuring: AI with Samsung, VR with Meta and Wellbeing with Calm.

The event was brought to a live audience over three sessions targeted towards specific age groups and was simultaneously livestreamed across YouTube for children to watch from the comfort of their own home.

The Impact

- The EE Learn Live campaign drove a 600%+ uplift in traffic to LearnSmart week-on-week

- 5 pieces of trade press, and a piece in Sky News focused on Gareth Southgate. 

- Sell out event with 120 guests in attendance
