Haggling is a very common practice in Israeli culture, with its residents proudly claiming to be the best in the world at striking a great deal.
To celebrate the inaugural flight between London and Tel Aviv, we created the ‘Come Flea with Me’ travel agency, where Virgin Atlantic founder Richard Branson would go head to head with the city’s fierce negators keen to buy flights.
Manifest took over a traditional market place, and set up shop complete with bespoke merch.
Hundreds of passers by clamoured to get their hands on flights at a good price, with many nabbing deals for up to 90% off.
We also created Richard Branson’s top tips for haggling and negotiating to give additional content for media and social channels.
Our activity secured widespread coverage in both the UK and Israel, with the stunt appearing on all major broadcast channels in Tel Aviv, as well as reaching over 31m via social content.
