Kreuzberg-based creative agency adam&eveBerlin is boosting its creative department with the addition of Christina Rankel as creative director.
Christina returns to her native Germany after three years in Amsterdam, where she worked on global brands such as Nike and Allianz and was recognised for her outstanding creative work as the 'Next Creative Leader 2023' by the One Club for Creativity. Her recent campaigns include Nike’s 'What the Football' campaign for the Women’s FIFA World Cup.
Prior to W+K, Christina gained valuable experience as creative director at McCann Worldgroup Germany and as senior copywriter at Jung von Matt.
In her new role, she will report to Jens Pfau, chief creative officer, working on clients including Deutsche Telekom, Worldcoin and SMEG.
The new hire sees adam&eveBerlin expanding its creative firepower on the back of strong success this year, including two gold and two bronze Lions in Cannes this year for its work with Deutsche Telekomn, making the agency already one of the top awarded agencies in Germany.
“Christina brings creative brilliance and international experience back to Germany. I am delighted that we have been able to recruit her for adam&eveBerlin,” explains Jens Pfau, chief creative officer. “With her ability to bring feeling and emotion to life for any brand she touches, she is a perfect fit for the agency and will make a significant contribution to the agency’s success and its international capabilities.”
For Rankel, the move is a return to her roots: “After years abroad, I'm looking forward to bringing my global perspective to the German market. With adam&eveBerlin, I see the best of the German and international creative scene coming together to create fresh campaigns on various national and international brands.”
