A career in journalism wasn’t necessarily where Jordan wanted to go in life. But, given the fact that writing for the school paper was pretty fun, when tasked with choosing what degree to pursue at the age of 16, it seemed like a solid-enough choice.
Now, years later, with a somewhat expensive piece of paper mounted on the wall, Jordan holds the title of LBB’s Canada reporter. Officially joining in August 2022, having previously served two internships, she quickly acclimated to the role of being the platform’s first foreign, in-market representative, working from home out of Toronto and pushing the country’s best and brightest work (although sometimes, she's a smidge jealous to miss out on the office fun happening across the pond).
A firm advocate for LGBTQ+ representation, Jordan is in equal parts eager to see the continued rise of strong representation within the industry, and to talk about the importance of this. And, when she's not at work, you can probably find her attempting to relive her 'Overwatch' semi-professional playing days (while being completely washed, of course), cooking (hopefully) delicious fare, and supporting FC Bayern Munich in what inevitably feels like their latest attempt to choke the Bundesliga title against the odds.
