Burger King UK has launched a nationwide offer to remind siblings that they’ll always be a King at Burger King UK, with kids eating for just £1 during the Easter break. Introduced to help keep the siblings happy, the offer launches as families unwrapped some age-old juicy truths within new research commissioned by Burger King UK.
Nuggets from the survey include 68% of first-borns claiming to get a harder time in the family, compared to their younger sibling. Surveyed parents also confessed that their youngest gets the royal treatment with more treats, whilst being the least likely to receive a grilling when it comes to sibling beef.
Dethroned first-borns admitted to having a chip on their shoulder, with 77% conceding that they’re not the favourite child. 71% also claimed to have had more responsibilities on their plate than their younger sibling does at the same age.
Burger King UK has released a heart-warming film to mark the launch, showcasing the trials and tribulations of dethroned older siblings who have had the limelight stolen from them by their younger brothers and sisters. The film, which includes all the details of the new offer, is available to watch here.
Just in time for Easter half term, the kids eat for £1 offer is available via the BK UK App from 29th March and 12th April 2024, as a reminder that at Burger King UK, you’ll always be a King. Kids can tuck into a tasty choice of a Cheeseburger, Hamburger, Chicken Nuggets or Vegan Nuggets meal from the King Jr. menu, complete with a portion of fries or apple slices, and a water or Capri Sun all for only £1 when an accompanying adult purchases a regular meal.
