Irresistible Studios announces the signing of Chip to its roster. Chip is a one of a kind director who is bursting with creativity. Hailing from Bristol and working globally, he is a born filmmaker who puts every ounce of care and enthusiasm into each project. He specialises in comedy, sports and docu-style filmmaking.
Director’s rep, Rebecca Rezakhani-Hilton, tells us what sealed the deal for the signing, “Chip brings so many excellent directing qualities which we really admired, to note a few would be he is both highly creative and adaptable, his on set energy is magnetic, upbeat and positive. We love how he looks after a project from start to finish, equally he is very down to earth and approachable, not to mention, his ability to work with talent is unparalleled. We’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Chip on several occasions and he consistently delivers high quality work, so signing him feels like the most natural step forward for us”.
Chip’s signature look of in-camera transitions, slick movement and cinematic art direction brings an elevated look for the brands he works with. He has a list as long as his arm of celebrity collaborators, including Harry Kane, Peter Crouch, Micah Richards, Danny Dyer, Harry Redknapp, Ray Winstone and Adam Richman. He speaks to this skillset with: “working with talent is second nature to me and I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the top people in sports and entertainment. Building out the visual story, with the talent’s performance at the core, is a thread which runs through all of my work”. As is the way with most sporting talent, access to and timings on the day are incredibly limited. Chip’s understanding and wealth of experience in tight talent timings makes him a safe pair of hands to respond to these types of jobs.
Having worked across every stage of production, he is a superb collaborator and offers great support across the whole filmmaking process. Brands and broadcasters he’s worked with include BBC, BT Sport, Sky, England national football team, West Ham United F.C., UberEats, KFC, Hellmann’s and many more.
For Chip, he’s looking to the future and thinking about what the next steps will look like. Grounding himself in “making films with both substance and style”, he’s rising towards making work with “exaggerated visual worlds” but for Chip, he retains the belief of whatever he makes, “it's got to have a story behind it.”
