Cut + Run's Ben McCambridge Delivers Editing on #Pride Spot for Instagram

This year Instagram kicked off the #Pride festival by gathering together five leaders from LGBTQ+ community and surprised them by linking them with their role models.

The project was edited by Cut + Run’s Ben McCambridge, directed by Sam Spiegel of Hey Wonderful, and finished by Jogger Studios.

“Being involved in a project that highlights the intersection of Instagram and leading voices in the LGBTQ+ community was so fulfilling because I was able to see firsthand the power of social media,” relates editor Ben McCambridge. “A reoccurring sentiment by the interview subjects is how Instagram has been crucial in giving them visibility and a voice. They were all acutely aware that for the first time in history they have a platform to broadcast their message however they see fit, and it has changed their lives – and ours - forever".
