HERO has announced that director Zadoc Nava is joining its roster.
Nava began his career directing documentaries for the BBC and went on to make a number of award-winning short fiction films before directing commercials for T-Mobile, Lloyds TSB, PlayStation and Christian Aid.
“I am very pleased to sign with HERO, a company with a excellent roster of directors and a reputation for innovative creative work,” says Zadoc. “This is a great opportunity to draw on my background in film and photography, and fiction and documentary, to realise exciting, new work”.
“Zadoc’s work is compelling and memorable,” said HERO’s Kate Myers. “He is a storyteller with great strength for conveying human emotion and we are so pleased to have him join us”.
Nava’s recent photographic work has been published and exhibited internationally, with solo shows in London and Belfast. He has recently exhibited at the Tehran Art Biennale and StartArt 2016, at the Saatchi Gallery, London.
“I’m keen to break down the rigid distinctions between the art world and the creative industries,” Zadoc continues. “In my experience some of the most exciting work emerges from people who can draw on a wide range of creative influences and disciplines to deliver striking and imaginative forms of communication.”
