Feelings Can Take You Anywhere in Nissan Campaign

Nissan 'Drives you Wonder' released this week. The car commercial operates on the notion that a feeling can take you anywhere. Opening with a couple driving on an ordinary day, the film soon bursts into lightning speed. Their Nissan ferries the pair on a journey through the four seasons and into outer space without ever leaving a 9x9 studio. 

To make this production a reality, the six locations in the film were created on 3D software Unreal Engine prior to shooting. 'Drives you Wonder' was a collaboration between Nissan Design Latin America, Kaus Film, and Quanta Studios São Paulo.

“The production and post was executed in Brazil, but I felt we needed an eye from a different background perspective, to bring something fresh to the table,” said director Steve Bruno. “So, I put in an effort to contact Rigel Kilston, whom I knew from several other projects that I admired. Fortunately, I was in Amsterdam for a week right before the edit, so I could meet the Splash team and kick start good ideas that came to be in the project.”

Splash Studios is an internationally renowned post production company based out of the Netherlands. The editorial powerhouse was founded by senior editor Rigel in 2019 and has enjoyed commercial success ever since.
