Pulse Films director Aube Perrie, crafts a new video for Swedish rock band The Hives and their latest single - 'Bogus Operandi'.
Not for the faint hearted, Perrie’s latest offering is a thrilling, gory and stylish video which matches the wild and suave energy of the song.
The video begins with the discovery of an old cassette tape found at the edge of the woods. When the words ‘Bogus Operandi’ written on the tape are said aloud an invisible sinister force is seemingly unleashed. A spade drives us through the landscape until we reach the band who honour the audience with the horror film cliché of a broken-down car leading to a frenetic cabin in the woods and terrifying experience. Aube Perrie treats the viewers to Zombies, bloodshed and creative murder scenes. Stylistically shot, with pace, wit and posed frames to match the swagger of the track.
“Ok let’s shoot one more, but more evil!” - Aube Perrie, on the set of ‘Bogus Operandi’
“Bogus Operandi” is the first song off the band's new album ‘The Death Of Randy Fitzsimmons’ which will be released later this year and is The Hives first studio album in over a decade.
