Campaign from Jack Morton sees brand ambassador Valtteri Bottas head to Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, California

Every day Hyland is enabling its customers to unlock critical insights found within their data. Some days that means translating a Formula 1 driver’s biometric data to into something just as powerful - a whole new type of track designed to get hearts racing.

In this case, we are the first to ask: What does adrenaline sound like?

Recently, Hyland took Hyland partner and brand ambassador Valtteri Bottas to Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, California, connected him up to sensors that measured athletic data like his heart rate, brain activity, sweat production and respiration. As he got in the car, he noted that car racing is all about adrenaline and tempo. He drove laps, sometimes seeing his heard rate go up to 200 beats per minute, and captured the information while behind the wheel.

Hyland wanted to use this data to compose a new kind of racetrack – one you can’t drive on but drive with. From there, a group of music producers and composers took that data and turned it into a thrilling song, Flight of the Valtteri.
