Amsterdam based music production company Birdbrain produces a mini-doc sharing a glimpse into the creative process behind recording the score for Fanta, ‘In the Name of Play’

With agency 72andSunny Amsterdam and director Jeff Low at the helm, the Fanta commercial puts silliness, play, and high-performance idiots on a pedestal, who are celebrated with the same enthusiasm and drama as high-performance athletes. In an encouraging move for creatives everywhere, the spot came together almost exclusively on Skype.

Jake Buckley, executive producer at Birdbrain, says: “Our main focus has always been to collaborate with the real eye-widening talent of our industry. We love to do this without taking ourselves too seriously, after all, advertising is a business that revolves around play; a horse race of incredible craft, jockeyed by bottomless creativity.”
