The Many has announced the hiring of Joe Robbins as its Director of Emerging Technology and Innovation. Robbins, a media and tech veteran with more than 20 years of experience, will lead the agency’s efforts to integrate emerging technologies into client projects, focusing on areas such as extended reality (XR), immersive media and artificial intelligence.
The Many, based in Los Angeles, is an independent agency specialising in integrated campaigns, creative content, media and experiential marketing and known for generating audience participation and immersive experiences.
In his new role, Joe will oversee the development of new tech initiatives, helping The Many incorporate tools such as Unreal Engine, wearables and holographic media into campaigns.
Joe brings an extensive background working across traditional, interactive and immersive formats. He has contributed to projects involving music and entertainment icons such as Katy Perry and Bruno Mars, and previously led immersive media efforts at Red Bull.
Joe’s work has earned him industry accolades including a Sports Emmy for Outstanding Digital Innovation, an AWE Auggie, a THEA award and a Shorty award.
