Sometimes we can mess things up so badly with a friend or family, that a “sorry” with a big bunch of flowers just isn’t enough to make amends – e.g. when you realise your dog has eaten your neighbour’s cat….
J. Walter Thompson London has just launched a socially led campaign (that also branches out into print and outdoor) to illustrate those times when flowers aren’t enough, give a Woodland Trust tree instead.
The Woodland Trust is the UK’s largest woodland conservation charity. They do a treemendous amount of work to protect and plant trees, and restore ancient woodland for the benefit of wildlife and the local people. The campaign aims to build awareness around their work and the offer to give a tree as a gift, as only a few people know about their extraordinary work and these special gifts.
The campaign consists of three core illustrated scenarios drawn by The Time’s and Spectator’s political cartoonist Morten Mørland - all three illustrations were drawn and coloured by hand.
