Kevin Costner Turns a Berlin Bus into a Western Scene

All roads lead to the cinema, but in an environmentally friendly way, using public transport. In the social media film, even a western hero like Kevin Costner can't resist and switches from a horse to a bus. Much to the delight of the other passengers.

Parallel to the nationwide cinema release of HORIZON in Germany, the social spot can be seen on the Tobis Film and BVG Social Media channels. The message: Real heroes take the BVG to go see HORIZON.

Max Krumm, product manager at TOBIS said, ‘For the theatrical release of Kevin Costner's new western epic HORIZON, we want to let the whole of Berlin know that the Sherriff is back in town! And for that, there's no better partner for us here than BVG.’

Christine Wolburg, head of sales and marketing at BVG said, ‘For us, all our passengers are heroes because they actively contribute to the ecological transport revolution - even when travelling to the cinema. It was a great pleasure for us to be able to realise this message with Hollywood legend Kevin Costner in such a likeable way. PS: our ‘carriages’ have more horsepower.’

The film was produced by Wolffpack Vision and conceived in close collaboration between creation and direction, directed by Matthias Wackrow and shot by Tobi Koppe.

It is Serviceplan Berlin's first work for Tobis Film. Serviceplan Berlin has been working for BVG for six years, with very successful joint projects including the multi-awarded BVG women's ticket.
