PRETTYBIRD, the production company helmed by Paul Hunter, Kerstin Emhoff, and Ali Brown, HAS announce that award-winning filmmaker Lucrecia has joined the roster for US commercial and music video representation. Lucrecia, originally from Buenos Aires, studied photography in London, where she also discovered her passion for moving images.
Lucrecia has been signed to PRETTYBIRD UK since 2021, soon after winning UKMVA’s Best Pop Newcomer award for her Tarantino-esque music video for rapper/singer-songwriter Ashnikko - which she pitched, prepped, and shot in only four days. Since joining PBUK, Lucrecia has quickly made a name for herself. Her unique style - characterised by hyper-real aesthetics, strong characters, and vividly crafted worlds - has become a signature in both her photography and film work.
Candice Dragonas, VP, talent strategy/executive producer PBUS said, “We’re beyond excited to have Lucrecia join our Prettybird US family! She brings a uniquely stylish approach to storytelling with the perfect splash of humour and playfulness. I admire her extreme passion for her craft and the drive to create at the top of her game. We’re very much looking forward to diving into her world and making beautiful films together!”
Her work has gone viral on more than one occasion. Her commercial for bibigo 'Live Delicious' was widely admired and even recreated on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel. Lucrecia's bold narratives and distinctive visuals have earned her recognition across the commercial and music industries, with accolades from Kinsale Shark, Creative Circle, 1.4 Awards, and the UKMVAs. Her work has also been honoured at the Cannes YDAs and Ciclope, cementing her as a dynamic force in contemporary filmmaking and visual storytelling.
In addition to Lucrecia’s cinematic visual aesthetic, she routinely engages in another unique form of self-expression: nail art. She has had everything from whipped cream and cherries to chrome flames adorning her nails, as seen here.
At PRETTYBIRD, Lucrecia joins an award-winning roster of filmmakers including Academy Award-winning duo Daniels (Everything Everywhere All At Once), A.V. Rockwell (A Thousand and One), and comedy duo Tim & Eric (Cannes Lions Grand Prix winner Michael CeraVe).
