Moi Rewards is METRO’s new loyalty program made to celebrate you. That’s why to celebrate the program’s Ontario launch, METRO has dropped a cheeky new ad campaign to showcase how shoppers can earn, redeem and save on offers made for everyone - even the likes of Jennifer Lopez……. from Toronto.
With loyalty programs continuing to grow and new ones appearing, Moi Rewards’ bold launch in Ontario is cutting through clutter by narrowing in on the features consumers care about most, like earning points quickly and receiving personalised offers based on what you buy.
Developed in collaboration with agency partner: Open, and spanning TV, radio, OOH and digital, the campaign centres around 'rewards for me,' emphasising customers as the stars of the program and suggesting that celebrity treatment is something we all deserve.
“With over 275 stores across hundreds of communities in Ontario, our everyday customers are unique at every store we operate,” says Alain Tadros, VP, chief marketing officer and digital strategy. “Our priority when creating the Moi Rewards program was to put personalisation at the core by generously rewarding customers, quickly and easily, without making them change their buying habits or put in extra effort. As a result, we had some fun with the idea of personalisation in our new ad campaign.”
Illustrating the simple, personalised user experience of Moi Rewards are Jennifer Lopez from Toronto, Ryan Reynolds from Barrie, Julia Roberts from Ottawa and Michael Jordan from Toronto: your neighbours who - thanks to the new program, are now able to earn BIG on the items they already buy.
“Working with Lopez, Reynolds, Roberts and Jordan was a dream of mine. I can’t believe we made it happen?!” shares Martin Beauvais, partner at Open.
As of October 24th, Moi Rewards is officially available in Metro, Food Basics, and Jean Coutu stores across the province. In addition to Open, Moi Rewards’ Ontario-wide launch is being supported by three other agency partners: Agnostic for PR, The Neighbourhood Agency for corporate communications, and Glassroom for media.
