The journey began with the short film, which has already been accepted into its first festivals, generating anticipation and intrigue among audiences. The short film stars Laura Lakshmi, Shameer Birges, and Masha Basman, whose performances bring depth and intensity to the narrative. Written by Jennifer van Gessel, with story contributions by Ennio de Masi, Nik Kacevski, and van Gessel, the feature builds on the foundation laid by the short film while introducing a richer, more complex narrative. Set in a shadowy and unforgiving world, STEEL MOTHER follows Olivia, a young mother with a haunting past and a secret that could change everything. As she fights to protect her daughter, Olivia is forced to confront the dangerous forces pursuing her and the extraordinary abilities she is only beginning to understand.
