Minneapolis-based design and advertising agency MONO announced the promotion of four key team members to senior creative and account leadership roles. Dave Bullen and Tim Blevins were promoted to group creative directors, and Meghan Welch and Jennifer Moore were elevated to group account directors.
Dave Bullen joined MONO in 2010, and has flawlessly led creative duties on some of MONO’s most iconic campaigns for brands like Google, Apple, Alfa Romeo, Target, L’OR, Sherwin-Williams, Macy’s, Advance Auto Parts, Propel, and many more. Dave excels at capturing the soul and essence of brands to connect with audiences on a deeper level. Prior to joining MONO, Dave worked as an art director at Carmichael Lynch on Harley-Davidson, and at Olson on Nike Bauer Hockey and Target.
Tim Blevins has led campaigns for MONO clients such as Macy’s, Propel, Walmart, Thomas’ Breads, Keystone Light, and more. A writer by trade, Tim brings a dynamic blend of creativity and strategic thinking that pushes beyond convention to deliver impactful creative campaigns that resonate with audiences. Before joining MONO in 2014, he worked at Carmichael Lynch on Jack Link’s Beef Jerky, Subaru and Seventh Generation.
“Tim and Dave are not only super talented creatives who have made some of our most iconic work, they’re also amazing mentors to their teams and strong partners to our clients. They motivate everyone around them. They both embody what creativity at MONO is all about.”
Meghan Welch is an exceptional account talent who brings the critical mind of a strategist and the curious eye of a creative to every project she leads. She excels at building long-term relationships with clients and partners through her hands-on approach, attention to detail and enthusiasm for working with great people on great brands. At MONO, Meghan heads integrated campaigns for Macy’s, Power Home Remodeling, Sherwin-Williams, RYTHM Cannabis and Leinenkugel's. Prior to joining MONO in 2020, Meghan worked at Cramer-Krasselt, where she led strategic and day-to-day management of clients like Cat’s Pride, TIKI Brand and Cintas.
Jennifer Moore is a seasoned account professional with over 20 years of expertise in helping form powerful brand experiences that meaningfully connect with consumers and move businesses forward. She's a dynamic leader and a detailed communicator who thrives on close collaboration with clients and internal teams. At MONO, Jennifer leads Thrivent, L’OR Coffee, Kate Farms and more. She previously led projects for brands like Reebok, Under Armour, New Balance, Petco, and more at Latitude and Fame.
“Elevating Meghan and Jenn in these new account leadership roles further strengthens our commitment to delivering exceptional client service. Anyone who has had the pleasure of working with them knows that they are sharp, innovative and highly strategic, but also incredibly kind, energetic and just a joy to work with,” said managing director Melissa Mathei.
The promotions are the latest in a series of hires and promotions at the agency this year, following closely on the heels of the arrival of Matthew Anderson as head of production in May. Back in March the agency added Bob Panger as director of integrated media, and in 2023 it promoted Mathei to managing director, and Suzy Langdell to chief marketing officer. MONO also recently added Macy’s to its growing roster of clients, having launched its summer campaign titled Summer’s Greatest Hits.
