Independent agency Proof Advertising has appointed Chree Taylor as chief growth officer. A longtime marketing executive, Chree brings more than 20 years of experience with Fortune 500 consumer brands to the role, in which she will oversee the agency's business-development pursuits and awareness efforts. She joins Proof at a spotlight moment for the agency, which has been growing its roster, working with brands like Texas Tourism, Sprinkles, and wide recognition for its CES 2024 work.
Chree comes to Proof from Hot Dish Advertising in Minneapolis, where she served as executive director, head of client service, running an integrated team focused on the franchise industry for B2B, B2C and B2E marketing campaigns. She has previously served as managing director for Dentsu Creative (formerly mcgarrybowen), where she ran the integrated Subway business across North America, and EVP account director at Grey NY, running Dairy Queen, T.J. Maxx and Hostess Brands, plus pitching and winning Papa John’s, One World Observatory and Hasbro’s 15+ Girls’ and Boys’ toy brands.
Overall, Chree brings decades of experience working on intense, fast-moving consumer brands spanning retail, CPG and QSR and collaborating with executive teams of Fortune 500 and multinational companies, including Target, Wendy’s, Fujitsu, Hostess Brands and Macy’s.
In her new role, Chree will be responsible for leading Proof's new-business initiatives, driving net new revenue growth and raising Proof’s profile among potential clients. She is based in Chicago, but will maintain a frequent presence in Austin, where the agency currently operates out of a downtown bar-turned-workspace and a new Liberation Lakehouse, allowing staff to gather for informal meetings and work sessions.
“As a passionate leader who looks to strategically push boundaries in the right way for my clients and their brands, I look forward to taking Proof’s growth to the next level,” said Chree. “As a key member of the leadership team, I hope to make an impact not only in bringing on new client partners, but in helping to strategically onboard them in a way that is smart, swift and thorough.”
“I’m excited to be reuniting with Chree, having worked closely with her years ago in our respective roles on Subway,” said Bryan Christian, founder & CEO of Proof. “She brings such great energy to our already stellar team, and will harness that for a renewed focus on our new business strategy and outreach. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be working together again, now within the same agency.”
