Rachel McDonald’s ‘Hermanos’ Wins at Ciclope 2024

‘Hermanos’, the short film directed by Rachel McDonald, has won bronze in the Short Film category at the 2024 Ciclope Festival.

Selected from over 1,700 entries, Hermanos’ recognition at Ciclope—a festival renowned for celebrating exceptional storytelling craftsmanship—underscores its impactful narrative and emotional depth.

“Winning at Ciclope with Hermanos is an honour and a reminder of how important it is to tell stories you believe in,"  said Rachel. “We hope this film inspires meaningful conversations, especially at such a crucial time ahead of the U.S. elections.”
