Sonya Akulshina who recently joined to the exclusive roster of directors at Directors Guild, has made a notable mark with her directorial debut for the second-hand app, Tise. When the project landed on Directors Guild’s desk, it quickly became evident that Sonya was the natural choice for the directing role. Her alignment with the preliminary script idea was immediate, and she enthusiastically embarked on bringing her vision to life.
The creative concept developed by the agency Tsunami was inspired by Tise’s recent expansion into the Danish market, while also highlighting its established presence in Finland. Filmed in May of this year, the commercial features scenes shot in both Helsinki and Copenhagen.
"Creating a film for Tise was an incredibly enjoyable process," Sonya remarked. "I was granted the creative freedom to explore and execute my vision fully, and I am deeply grateful for the trust and confidence shown to me by both the client and the production company."
