With Liverpool FC player Mo Salah completing his record-breaking season at the same time as the famously anonymous Accrington Stanley being promoted, TBWA\London couldn’t resist a creative opportunity to remake the legendary 1980s Accrington Stanley Milk Board ad; but with a timely and contemporary twist.
Partnering with indie sports digital media company, Snack Media, the film is being pushed out across football platforms like FootballFanCast, FootballLeagueWorld and TransferTavern; with additional social support coming from football influencers and famous ex-players.
The film gave TBWA\London a chance to flex its creative muscle and prove its cultural content creds, whilst giving football fans an entertaining little gift to round off the season.
