The Bishop Strachan School in Toronto is launching a campaign promoting the school’s plan to create more world-changing female leaders. The campaign which consists of videos and static social assets drives to a microsite housing the school’s new strategic plan. “The new strategic plan is the culmination of three years of focused work,” said Dr. Angela Terpstra, BSS head of school, “we are incredibly proud of this plan and we are confident that it will guide us on our path to becoming a world leader in girl’s education.”

We have a plan.
The campaign highlights how leadership roles in politics, science and culture are still dominated by men. The creative then pivots to explain that BSS has a plan to change the status quo. “There are still so many areas where there just isn’t nearly enough female leadership,” said Terry Drummond, partner creative at Good&Ready, “the stats are really quite alarming.” The campaign leverages BSS students in the creative.
“The best part of executing this campaign was working with the students,” explains Terry. “The message is much more powerful when it is delivered by the leaders of tomorrow.”
The dearth of female leaders in the world perfectly sets up this campaign announcing the school’s new strategic plan. BSS aims to be a world leader in girl’s education and the school has always put female leadership at the centre of their pedagogy. “We love how this campaign perfectly represents our values,” says Dr. Angela Terpstra. “Good&Ready just nailed it with this campaign.”
