We’re waging a bet that Tom Weissferdt is a bit of a water bunny. Born and raised on the Baltic sea in the port city of Kiel, Germany, he now spends his days in the sunnier climes of Venice Beach, Los Angeles. Founder and executive producer at Slim Pictures, the US home to directors such as Karen Cunningham and Lorenzo Cisi, outside of work you can find Tom indulging in the oh so Californian pastimes of surfing and eating tacos from a streetside food truck. But if he invites you for dinner, you can expect to be fed something a little heartier from his homeland.
