In an exciting partnership with director Kelly Marcel, Karin Fong and the team at Imaginary Forces was asked to craft the explosive and unforgettable main-on-end title sequence for Venom: The Last Dance. The result? A fierce and animalistic spectacle that celebrates Marvel's most beloved anti-hero with a venomous twist.
“Kelly knew from the start that she wanted to have fun with the symbiote take-over of various animals in these end titles. It’s a rousing celebration to close out the final film – with lots of energy, punchy colour– a mix of ferocious and funny. I mean, it’s Venom! So there’s really no such thing as too absurd.”
Karin continues, “Even Tom Hardy’s dog Blue, makes a cameo!”
Karin and her team worked closely with Marcel to celebrate the Venom legacy in true beastly fashion. Taking Venom’s animalistic instincts to new heights, the sequence unleashes a menagerie of Venomized creatures, each infused with his iconic traits - piercing eyes, razor-sharp teeth, and that unmistakable slithering tongue. It’s a ballet of biohazards, set to the head-banging track One Last Dance by Tom and Roman Morello.
Transforming Venom into a beastly parade gives the audience a chance to bask in the character’s legacy at the end of the film. And don’t worry - no animals were harmed in the making of this sequence!
