Gatorade Honours Dwayne Wade with Tribute by John Legend

Gatorade is celebrating NBA legend Dwyane Wade with the assistance of GRAMMY winner John Legend in a tribute created by TBWA\Chiat\Day LA. 

Gatorade partnered with John Legend, who is a good friend of Wade, to authentically thank him for being an outstanding partner throughout his storied career and for his contributions on-and-off the court. For the tribute, Legend re-recorded a version of the classic School House Rock song 'Three is a Magic Number' as a way to tell Wade’s unique life story. The song was produced by Raphael Saadiq.

For Wade, the number three isn’t just his jersey number, but a significant thread throughout his life. Additionally, Gatorade has created limited towels and squeeze bottles with Wade’s '3' entwined with the iconic Gatorade Bolt which will be featured on the sidelines of Tuesday’s game.
