Today sees the appointment of KBS Albion by Zopa to work as creative and strategic agency across their brand and communications after a competitive 4-way pitch process.
KBS Albion was successful in winning the pitch by providing the Zopa team with a clear vision of the future opportunity for their brand and business. The agency responded to the brief starting with an entire strategic review of their brand in the broader business context, rather than presenting a traditional creative campaign at pitch.
Zopa is a Fintech company that specialises in new and innovative ways to invest and borrow money online. The company was recently awarded the MoneySuperMarket’s ‘Supers 2016’ award for best personal loan provider.
Zopa has made the appointment in preparation for a significant investment in both marketing and new product initiatives.
Amy Miller, Chief Marketing Officer of Zopa, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Albion on our brand and communications strategy. They have a track record of building great brands in the tech industry and beyond, and we are excited about what we can do collaboratively to build Zopa’s awareness.”
Paul Jakimciw, CEO of KBS Albion, added: “With a strong history of partnering with disruptive businesses we are extremely excited to be partnering with one of the original disruptors in the FS category. We believe there is enormous opportunity for the brand to build on an impressive heritage of innovation as many of the old structures and corporations in this category continue to struggle.”
