Kizik, the industry leader in hands-free footwear innovation, is debuting a new brand platform designed by creative agency Yard NYC as it expands its brand into retail, wholesale, and international markets. To support Kizik’s growth, Yard has created a comprehensive brand and marketing initiative introducing Kizik’s brand promise: “Motion Is Magic.”
“We saw an opportunity to transform the brand’s functional benefit of “hands-free” into an emotional benefit rooted in our target consumer’s desire to move frictionlessly through life,” explained Ruth Bernstein, CEO of Yard NYC. “These insights and more led us to ‘Motion is Magic,’ an inspiring brand promise that captures the easy, unencumbered way our consumers move through life and experiences.”
Yard developed a new branding look, feel, and tone for Kizik that comes to life through an attention-grabbing photography style that simulates the idea of motion through the use of blurred imagery set against close-up shots.
Yard also created new design guidelines, packaging, website, social and advertising. Compelling new creative will begin rolling out across the brand’s website, social, and other digital and brick-and-mortar channels. The campaign will also have omnichannel distribution across out-of-home, connected TV, linear digital display, traditional & streaming, and paid social. The campaign was shot in Barcelona. The images from the campaign tell a story and invite consumers to connect and engage in a world that inspires adventure, where Motion is Magic.

Kizik will continue to expand its influence and reach new consumers in 2024 by forging a national brick-and-mortar roll-out, entering into new wholesale partnerships, and expanding into international markets.
