Pinterest’s in-house creative team, The Studio, have launched a new campaign today called 'Right the Ratio' aimed at encouraging the next generation of female creatives to seek leadership roles, by giving them practical advice from women who’ve already blazed the trail. The campaign went live just in time for Women’s Equality Day on August 26th.
Throughout the campaign, you’ll hear from seven female creatives who are leaders in the advertising industry, interviewing them about how they spark creativity, navigate their careers and amplify their voices. Each woman will share personal anecdotes, career tips and advice for people hoping to shift the ratio.
One of the women featured in Right the Ratio is Cindy Gallop, Founder and CEO of MakeLoveNotPorn, and Advertising Woman of the Year in 2003. “I'm very pleased that I'm talking to Pinterest,” said Gallop. “You are utterly unique. You are a tech unicorn that has been built on women. You are a platform that women have embraced as their own in a really unique way, and within you, you contain multitudes of the female lens of creativity."
