In collaboration with Ogilvy, directed by Augusto Giménez Zapiola and produced by Pueblo Films and argentinacine, Uber launches 'Hop on!': a new phase of the successful platform that the company launched at the end of 2022 and is now available in Barcelona, Málaga, and Seville.
The campaign is based on everyday situations where one of the platform's cars becomes an unexpected hero, celebrating a series of those funny and unexpected moments in life where an Uber arrives just in time to help you out, aiming for user identification.
"This campaign is a celebration of human connections and experiences that make us feel alive. At Uber, we are excited to be part of those stories that add a little more excitement to the everyday lives of those who use our platform to move around in their day-to-day. 'Hop on!' is our way of recognising and celebrating those unique experiences, reminding our users that we are here to make their days a little easier and more exciting," said Gianluca Benincasa, Uber's marketing director in Southern Europe.
"We are thrilled to launch this campaign that celebrates those crazy moments when Uber becomes the unexpected hero," stated Pablo Poveda and Guille Fernández, Ogilvy's creative directors. "We love being part of those stories that make people laugh and make life a bit more exciting. This campaign is a way to celebrate those unique experiences and remind everyone that Uber is always there to make life a little easier."
The campaign consists of three commercials produced by Pueblo Films and argentinacine featuring Augusto Gimenez Zapiola, with graphics by Sam Robinson and The Producer. 'Hop on!' is already airing on social media and outdoor advertising platforms, including banners, bus shelters, and digital screens in Barcelona, Málaga, and Seville.
